Dog for adoption!

Hello! My Name is Sabot. I live with my owner Rudy in Evart Michigan but we moved here from Lynnwood Washington. That is so far away I had never moved out of the big house we used to live in with my Rudy and her grandma. My Rudy seems to be in a bit of of trouble…her house mate and land lord (who is very scary) is making her give me up…this makes her very sad and causes a lot of stress which in turn, stresses me out quite a bit.

She wants me to go to a very good and loving home (me too!) that will accept me for who I am and what I require. I don’t require much…i am not a naughty dog (OK, I’ve knocked over the trash once when I was little but who hasn’t?.) I would love an owner who loved to go for walks or play catch in the back yard! I love to play catch! Frisbee are my favorite by far; I enjoy chasing and jumping after them and I bring them back to your feet so perfectly…accept when I get tired…then I might just leave it a few feet away so I can catch my breath (hey, I cant do all the work!)

I am not much for swimming…unless I have my life vest on; my Rudy’s mom has 2 labs that laugh at my skinny legs and paws that aren’t made for swimming but I show them up when I run circles around them in the field when we play ball. I don’t get to go off leash much, My Rudy takes me to a field out here where we play catch and I can really run but there are just not many places for us to go where I am allowed to play and run; but we manage, she has been very good at giving me at least a good solid hour of a long walk and 20-30 minuets of running around in the back yard so I stay nice and tired.

Recently she has decided to teach me how to run along side a bike…bikes are very scary to me…i usually bark and try to chase them away to protect my Rudy but recently I find they are not so bad up close. Its exhausting work, I usually just pass right out when we get home but its very fun and I’m slowly getting used to it.

I have many good qualities! I’m very loyal and loving, I protect my Rudy and watch for threats around her. I have high energy but I don’t take much to wear out. When I get bored I enjoy playing with my puzzle ball that gives me yummy treats when I figure it out. I don’t chew on furniture, I don’t dig and I never go potty in the house!

I do bark a little…not as much as I used to bark but I have been getting better and realizing that not everyone I see is gonna hurt my Rudy. I am pretty shy at first too…men make me a little more nervous at first then women but once I get to know them a little I love them very much! I do not like little kids tho…they are small and run up to me too fast and all I can do is run away from them! I love cats tho! Accept I wanna chase them all the time…i don’t think they like me very much because of it. I get a long very well with the dogs I live with and I have been around many other dogs in my life. I get nervous when I see them out for walks sometimes and I might even bark a little but I have never been mean to another dog before.

I think a house with older kids would be fun! Not little little kids for sure…but teens seem nice! They like to run and play and go for long walks and let me sleep on their bed! Id love a family who wanted me to be apart of their family and go on trips and outings; I’m very good at riding in the car and really enjoy it. My Rudy takes me everywhere about town but mostly in the car. I get pretty upset when we are walking and she walks into a store and leaves me a lone…we do not do that often as it really does upset me! But we are working on it! She only wants the best for me, I know this and love her for it. I know we will find someone who will see me for the treasure I am and give me a loving chance at a new life with a new family.

My Rudy is only asking 100 dollars for me, just in transportation costs. She will of course make sure I have all my toys and collars and leashes. I have had all my shots and will be going in for my next check up this summer…oh boy….thank you very much for considering me to be apart of your family!!

Just trying my luck here…any of my followers happen to know someone or even want a dog your self! she is pretty awesome. kind of a spazz but very loving.
